C3 Hope Outreach is the church in action, we believe that we're not just called to gather together on a Sunday but to live out our whole life for Jesus.
We're called to go out into the world and share the love, truth and transformational power of the Gospel and as a church we have numerous projects and ministries that we have pioneered or partnered with to impact our city and the wider world.
We all have passions and our Community Groups are places where where people from all works of life; young or old, christian or not, can come together in community. We run a variety of Groups that meet all across Sheffield and all throughout the week, from football to food, we guarantee there is a group for you. Our Hope Community Foundation runs a few Community groups throughout the week at The Hope Centre, you can find out more about those on their website by clicking here.
If you'd like to find out more information about a Community Group then you can head to our Groups page or email us and one of our team will be in touch.
Red Frogs is a key part of our mission here at C3 Hope. through Red Frogs we're actively serving and safeguarding the people of Sheffield and we're passionate about reaching this generation with real and authentic love. Stepping into spaces that are often unseen by the church, we have a conviction that Jesus wants us to actively change the culture across our city.
Having a heart for individuals who find themselves in Prison isn't just a C3 Hope thing, it's a God thing and a bible thing.
Isaiah 61 says; "he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor, bind up the broken hearted and to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from the darkness for the prisoners".
This scripture is deeply imbedded into our values as a church, our vision is to show the heart of Christ as we serve our local Prison, HMP Marshgate in Doncaster. After some time, due to covid, we will once again begin to send in a team to engage in a monthly service as well as providing a safe space and practical support for those leaving Prison and looking to start a new life.
If you'd like any more information or you're interested in joining the team, get in touch today by clicking here.
Alpha is an opportunity to discuss the big questions of life and explore the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. Every week we’ll be joining people, in the same boat as you, to watch episodes designed to spark conversation, where no question is out of bounds.
We run Alpha courses all throughout the year, so if you'd like to find out more or register for our next course then click here to head to our website page.
Home for Good
Over the last year, we have built a strong relationship with an incredible organisation called Home for Good. With many of our church family adopting or fostering, partnering with Home for Good is something that is very close to the heart of who we are.
Every 15 minutes in the UK, a child will come into care and we believe that everyone deserves a home, a place they'll be loved, nurtured and enabled to thrive. We also believe that the church and us as individuals have a huge part to play in this.
If you would like anymore information on the incredible work for Home for Good, click here head to their website. Alternatively, Gemma Otten our Community Pastor is a champion for Home for Good and would love to connect with you and answer any questions you may have, click here to email her.
We're always looking for passionate people to get involved in everything we're doing and getting involved can look different for everyone. Whether you have an afternoon to come down and volunteer in one of our Community Groups or spend a night helping out the Red Frogs team or maybe you have some time to help administrate all our outreach work.
Whatever it looks like we would love to chat to you more, simply email us at email@example.com and our team will be in touch!
