So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
Beautiful Church,
One of our greatest joys each year is to look back and celebrate all that God has done among us.
Our Annual Report is so much more than a collection of numbers and updates-it’s a testimony to God’s faithfulness in this region and to the lives He is transforming.
As a church, we want to be HOT - Honest, Open and Transparent. That’s why we love sharing not only a clear picture of how we steward the resources God has entrusted to us, but also the why behind it: the stories of life change, salvations, baptisms, Groups, generosity, and the impact we’re having in our community.
We hope this report fills you with gratitude, strengthens your faith, and reminds you that every prayer prayed, every hour served, every obedient act of sacrificial generosity, and every invitation extended has played a vital part in what God has been doing through C3 Hope.
To God be all the glory! He is building His Church, and the gates of hell will never prevail against it.
Thank You, Jesus. We will keep seeking first Your Kingdom until the whole world knows.
Amen!

Stories
After eighteen years away from Jesus, returning to Him felt like stepping back into a home I’d forgotten I was missing. It wasn’t dramatic or forced- it was gentle, steady, and full of grace. As my faith was rebuilt piece by piece, baptism became the most natural next step. It wasn’t just a moment on a Sunday; it was a declaration that the old was gone and a new life had begun.
In the water, I felt an overwhelming sense of being welcomed, restored, and truly seen by God. It was as if He had been patiently waiting all those years, not with disappointment, but with open arms. When I came up out of the water, I genuinely felt born again- lighter, freer, and filled with a renewed sense of purpose.
My baptism marked more than a return to Christ; it marked a rebirth. It reminded me that God’s grace doesn’t run out, His love doesn’t fade, and His plans for us don’t expire. I’m unbelievably grateful to be part of a church family that has walked with me, encouraged me, and celebrated this step of faith. This year has been the beginning of a new chapter, and I’m excited for everything God is leading me into next.

Stories
Jesus has always been part of my life, even though I wasn’t a practising Christian until I was around 19. One day I met with a couple of friends who prayed before we ate, and they encouraged me to download the Bible app. From then on, my faith has continued to grow.
I chose to get baptised for many reasons, but the biggest was being reborn. My past is still part of my journey, but baptism marked a fresh start and a commitment to living a Christ-centred life.
Being part of a community of faith filled people who are at a similar stage of life has helped me grow deeper in my relationship with Christ while giving me the opportunity to seek advice and encouragement from others in similar seasons.
The C3 Hope Students community has become like a family to me, and I am incredibly grateful for the role each person has played in my journey of faith.
Being a Christian at university can be challenging, as many people associate uni with drinking and clubbing. However, my friends and the football society at Hallam have always respected my beliefs and never pressured me to do anything that goes against my faith. It has shown me that you can build lifelong friendships with people who have different beliefs while staying true to your own!
